Every Olive balaclava is hand-knitted on needles from 77% alpaca and 23% mulberry silk. No machines, no mass production, just time and precision, as with our sweaters.
Why alpaca
With no lanolin, alpaca doesn't itch or irritate the skin, so you can wear the balaclava right against your face in comfort. It is also a hypoallergenic fibre and up to 5 times warmer than sheep's wool.
How to wear it
The ribbed knit follows the shape of the head, and the tie under the chin adjusts the fit. Olive green pairs beautifully with khaki, navy and black, one of the most versatile colours in the collection.
Care
Wash by hand in cool water up to 30°C with a gentle wool detergent. Dry flat, away from radiators and direct sunlight.
